The Stables Café
The Stables Café, as its name suggests, was once a stable and was home to many Shire Horses that worked the farmland. Violet and Tidy were the last residents of the building before they retired in the late 1950's. The original cobbled stable floor can still be seen through the glass topped holes inside the cafe.
The "Stables" Breakfast has gained a reputation for its quality, size and value for money. All the ingredients are sourced locally and are free-range. Hot and cold meals, snacks and beverages are served all day and there is an outdoor seating area for when the sun is shining.
The café is open from Tuesday to Sunday from 12th April throughout the summer period and on weekends throughout the winter period.
